PromptLab vs Attio
Build the CRM you want, or start from one made for industrial sales
Attio is the best-designed of the new AI-native CRMs: a data model you shape yourself. PromptLab is AI-native too, but built for one kind of sale. Here is where each one fits, including where Attio still wins.
Last updated 23 September 2026
The short version
Attio gives you custom objects on every plan, a free tier for three seats, and AI agents and an MCP server on every plan. Plus is $35 and Pro $79 per user a month billed annually; call intelligence and sequences need Pro.
PromptLab has the industrial sale modelled already — quotes, samples, price lists, raw materials and sales orders — with meetings recorded on every plan and WhatsApp and Telegram in a shared Inbox.
How we wrote this
We build PromptLab, so read this as a competitor's comparison. Every page under /compare follows the same rules: we name where the other product is better, we check competitor facts on their own pages and print the date, and we only describe PromptLab features that ship today.
Section by section
Data model
Attio's core idea is a CRM you shape: objects, attributes and relationships are yours to define, on every plan including Free.
PromptLab has the industrial sale modelled — quotes with line items, samples, price lists, raw materials and sales orders — and supports custom objects for the rest.
Verdict:
Attio is more flexible; PromptLab is ready sooner for a sample-and-quote sale.
Pricing
Attio is free for up to three seats. Plus is $35 and Pro $79 per user a month billed annually ($44 and $99 month to month). Sequences and Call Intelligence start at Pro, and AI features draw on a credit allowance.
PromptLab is $11.99, $23.99 or $39.99 per user a month, and meeting recording is on every plan.
Verdict:
For a team that needs recording, PromptLab costs well under half of Attio Pro per seat.
AI and MCP
Ask Attio searches records, notes, calls, emails and the web, drafts emails and updates records. Attio's hosted MCP server works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor on every plan.
PromptLab's assistant has 13 built-in sales skills — from meeting debriefs and pre-call prep to quote drafting — and its MCP server lets Claude and ChatGPT work with accounts, quotes and meetings.
Verdict:
Both are AI-native. Attio's AI is broader; PromptLab's is specialised for the industrial sale.
Conversations
Attio syncs email and calendars and records calls on Pro. WhatsApp and Telegram come through third-party bridges.
PromptLab records meetings on every plan and brings WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack into one shared Inbox, on the customer's record.
Verdict:
If customers message you, PromptLab keeps those conversations in the CRM without extra tools.
