Pricing: $10 to $16 against $12 to $28
Calendly has two plans with a published seat price: Standard at $10 and Teams at $16. Enterprise is from $15k a year for 50 seats. Its Free plan is limited to one event type and one calendar connection.
Cal.com has a free plan for 1 user, then Teams at $12 and Organizations at $28, plus a custom Enterprise plan. Teams and Organizations have a 14-day free trial. The entry paid plan is a little dearer than Calendly's, but the free plan goes much further.
Event types and the free plan
Calendly's Free plan has one event type. Unlimited event types start on Standard at $10 a seat a month.
Cal.com's free plan has unlimited event types and calendars for 1 user. It also includes a one-click import of Calendly events, which helps a team moving from Calendly.
Round robin and routing
Both keep team features off the free plan. Calendly's Teams plan at $16, its second paid plan, adds round-robin and team scheduling, plus forms that qualify, route and schedule leads.
Cal.com's Teams plan at $12, its entry paid plan, adds round-robin scheduling and routing forms. Its Organizations plan at $28 adds routing by custom variables. For a small team that needs both, Cal.com is the cheaper way in.
Reminders, video links and payments
Calendly adds Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other video details to meetings automatically. Automations and reminders start on Standard. Cal.com's free plan has email and SMS notifications, and its workflows for reminders and follow-ups are templated only. Video links work with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cal Video and 20+ other tools.
Payments are the clearest gap. Calendly collects payments through Stripe and PayPal from Standard at $10. Cal.com accepts Stripe and PayPal payments on its free plan.
CRM integrations
Calendly's Standard plan connects HubSpot and Mailchimp. Teams adds Marketo, Pardot and sending meetings to Salesforce. Enterprise adds Microsoft Dynamics.
Cal.com's free plan has two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync. If your reps live in one of those two CRMs, that is included from the start.
We make PromptLab, so here is where it fits.
Using it with a CRM
PromptLab connects to Calendly and Cal.com. Each booking becomes a meeting in the CRM, matched to the contact by the invitee's email.
The meeting then sits on the contact's record next to their emails, calls and deals, so the rep who takes it sees the whole history first.
