Pipedrive vs PromptLab

It's one of the easiest sales CRMs to learn, and Nova now adds pre-call briefs, call recording and CRM updates on every plan, from $14 a seat billed annually. The gaps sit around the deal: no samples, price lists or sales orders, and quotes wait for Premium at $59.

You keep what works there: deal pipelines, pre-meeting briefs, meeting recording and CRM fields filled in from calls. We add the records it doesn't keep (samples, price lists and sales orders), plus quotes, email capture and automation on the first plan.

Samples and customer prices on the account

Pipedrive has a product catalogue, but no sample tracking and no price list per customer. Who got a trial batch, and at what agreed price, usually lives in a spreadsheet.

We log every sample request on the account and the deal, and keep each customer's price list beside it. Reps quote from agreed prices, not memory, on every plan.

WhatsApp and Telegram from the first plan

Its WhatsApp starts on Growth at $39 a seat, with no Telegram integration. On Lite, buyers who order by chat stay outside the CRM.

Every plan we offer, from $11.99, puts WhatsApp and Telegram threads in the shared Inbox next to email. Connect your WhatsApp Business number and your company's Telegram bot, and each chat lands on the contact.

Ask what a customer ordered, in plain words

Its AI is good at meetings, and even Lite builds reports from a typed prompt. But an assistant can only answer from what the CRM stores, and it stores no sales orders or samples.

Our Ask AI reads the whole account: deals, quotes, sales orders, meetings and email. Ask what a customer ordered last quarter and get the answer in plain words, without building a report first.

Automate follow-ups without upgrading first

Its workflow automation starts on Growth at $39 a seat, and so does full email sync. A Lite team at $14 sets up every follow-up by hand.

We include workflows and email capture on Basic at $11.99. When a quote changes status or a deal moves stage, a workflow can create the next task or post to Slack.

How to switch from Pipedrive

Four steps to move your team and your data over.

A spreadsheet being imported into PromptLab
1. Export deals and contacts

Open the account menu at the top right and go to Tools and apps → Export data. Pick deals, people or organisations and download each as CSV or Excel.

2. Export notes and activities

It exports notes and activities separately from the records they belong to. Export them from the same page so each account's history comes with you.

3. Import into PromptLab

Click Import on our Accounts, Contacts or Deals list and upload the file, or pick it from Google Drive.

4. Map columns, then history

Match its fields to ours and run the import. Then import the notes, and your activities as tasks, the same way.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pipedrive a CRM?

Yes. It's a sales CRM built around the deal pipeline. Every plan includes Nova, its meeting intelligence, and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, with plans from $14 to $79 a seat billed annually.

Which is better, Pipedrive or PromptLab?

We are, for a team that sends samples and quotes against customer price lists. It wins on its marketplace of 500+ apps, its mobile apps and a pipeline view many reps already know. We add samples, price lists, sales orders and Telegram.

Is PromptLab cheaper than Pipedrive?

Yes. Our Basic plan is $11.99 a user a month, billed monthly, against its Lite plan at $14 billed annually. Automation and WhatsApp need Growth at $39, and quotes need Premium at $59. Our Basic plan includes all three.

Can I move my existing data over?

Yes. In its account menu, go to Tools and apps → Export data and download deals, people and organisations as CSV or Excel. Then click Import on our Accounts, Contacts or Deals list and map the columns. Notes and tasks import the same way.

Who is PromptLab best for?

Sales teams that make or distribute physical products and win business through samples, quotes and repeat orders. If buyers message you on WhatsApp or Telegram, those chats land in the CRM too.
