Pricing: $25 to $105 against $14 to $36

Missive costs less at every step. It has three plans: Starter at $14, Productive at $24 and Business at $36. Front also has three: Starter at $25, Professional at $65 and Enterprise at $105.

Neither lists a free plan. Front gives a 14-day trial with all Professional features. Missive gives 30 days on its Productive plan. Front's Starter is limited to 10 seats and Missive's Starter to 5 users, so both push growing teams up a plan.

Email accounts and collaboration

Both connect Gmail and Outlook, and both include assignment and internal comments. Front also lets you keep an individual inbox beside the shared ones. Missive adds Exchange, iCloud and IMAP accounts, plus internal threads, collaborative drafting and internal chat.

The difference is the shape of the product. Front lists a ticketing system on every plan, Starter included. Missive stays closer to an email client, with conversations and tasks.

WhatsApp and other channels

Missive's plans connect email, SMS and social accounts, and its pricing page lists WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. SMS comes through Twilio, Quo or Dialpad. Front's Starter handles a single channel type. Several channels at once start on Professional at $65.

Front's native WhatsApp is an add-on on Professional and Enterprise, billed at Meta's WhatsApp costs plus a 20% admin fee. For a team that mainly wants WhatsApp beside email, Missive is the cheaper option per seat.

AI reply drafts

Missive includes its AI assistant on Productive at $24 and above. It drafts replies in the conversation. Credits cost the provider's price plus 25%, with $5 free once, or you can bring your own API key.

Front sells AI separately. Copilot, which drafts replies, is $20 a seat a month on Starter and Professional and is included in Enterprise. The Autopilot agent is an add-on on every plan, from $0.05 a conversation.

CRM integrations and rules

Front links to HubSpot and Salesforce from its Starter plan, and also lists Pipedrive and Zoho CRM. Missive lists HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Close and Daylite, but integrations, rules and API access start on Productive at $24.

Front's plans run up to 50 seats on Professional, with SSO and SCIM there. Missive keeps SAML single sign-on and IP restrictions for Business at $36.

We make PromptLab, so here is where it fits.

Or share an inbox inside your CRM

PromptLab's inbox connects Gmail, Outlook, Exchange and other IMAP mailboxes, next to WhatsApp and Telegram. Each thread is linked to the contact and deal it belongs to.

Assign a thread to a teammate and talk it over in internal notes before you reply. There are no AI reply drafts, and it's built for sales conversations rather than a support desk.
