Geckoboard's pricing page lists no free plan, and it offers a 14-day free trial. Essentials is from $79 a month, with 2 dashboards, 1 editor and 1 screen. Performance is from $319, with 20 dashboards, 3 editors and 5 screens.
Data sources
Databox connects to 130+ tools, plus databases, spreadsheets and APIs. The number of sources you can use depends on the plan: 3 on Free, 5 on Analyst, and 10 or 30 on Team.
Geckoboard lists 90+ data sources and does not cap them: every plan has unlimited integrations. Essentials has basic data volume for the Aircall, Shopify and Zendesk Support integrations, which Performance raises.
Custom metrics and AI
Databox's Free plan allows 10 custom metrics. Every plan includes its AI analyst, called Genie, and performance summaries.
Geckoboard takes spreadsheets and a Datasets API for numbers its integrations don't cover, but building metrics from custom fields in HubSpot or Zendesk needs Performance at $319. Its AI offer is the Metrics MCP, which lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools work with your metrics, on Essentials.
Scheduled reports, TV and sharing
Geckoboard is stronger on screens. Essentials includes screens, dashboard loops that rotate on a timer, scheduled snapshots to Slack, Microsoft Teams or email, and sharing links with unlimited viewers.
Databox can stream any dashboard to a smart TV and send scheduled snapshots as a PDF or JPG to email or Slack. Its pricing page lists sharing and notifications from the Team plan at $199. Share links show live data with no login.
