Every team, its own view. How Synovation runs four to five teams in a single workspace

Synovation makes heat stabilisers for PVC and rubber products, with its own laboratory and local production. Four to five of its teams use PromptLab, where everything is gathered in one place and each team can view what it needs.

Challenge

A young manufacturer builds several teams at once, each with its own way of working. Separate tools for each would split the company’s data before it had settled. The teams needed a shared base that keeps everything in one place and can change as quickly as the company does.

Solution

Use PromptLab as the one place every team works from, with views of the same data for each team. The setup is flexible enough to change as the company grows, without starting again.

Results

  • 4–5 teams using one platform
  • Everything gathered in one place
  • A flexible setup that can change with the company

Synovation’s story

Founded in 2024, Synovation manufactures heat stabilisers for PVC and rubber products, including calcium, zinc and lead stearates and its own SYN-series grades. Its motto, “together on the path of innovation”, sums up how it presents itself: as a producer that puts quality, science and partnership first.

The company runs its own laboratory and research centre and uses modern production technology. It promises consistent quality and a flexible approach to each customer’s needs, and because it produces locally, its products are readily available within Uzbekistan instead of having to be imported.

Its mission is to provide innovative and reliable chemical solutions that help its customers succeed, and its vision is to strengthen whole industries through chemistry and long-term partnerships. For a company so young, that is an ambitious agenda, and it depends on several teams working well together from the start.

Heat stabilisers are an essential ingredient in PVC processing. They protect the polymer from breaking down under the heat of production, which makes them a technical product that customers choose carefully and buy repeatedly.

Growing several teams at once

A young manufacturer builds several teams at the same time. Sales, production, the laboratory and the people who handle orders and customers typically all start working at once, each with its own tasks and its own idea of what it needs to track.

The easy path is a separate tool for each: a spreadsheet here, a chat group there, a shared folder for documents. Each works on its own. Together, they split the company’s data before it has had a chance to settle, and every team ends up with its own version of the same customer.

Splits like that are hard to undo later. Once each team has built its habits around its own tool, bringing the data back together means a project, not a decision.

Synovation wanted to avoid that from the start. Rather than let each team pick its own tool and reconcile them later, it looked for one platform every team could share.

One set of data, many needs

The teams did not need the same screens. A sales team wants to see accounts and deals, production wants to see what has been ordered, and management wants the overall picture. Each team looks at the business from its own angle.

What they did need was the same data underneath. If a customer’s details change, every team should see the change. If an order is placed, nobody should have to copy it from one tool into another. The challenge was to give each team its own view without giving it its own copy.

It also had to be easy to change. A company in its first years rarely knows exactly how it will work a year later, and a system that takes weeks to reconfigure would hold it back.

The PromptLab moment

Synovation chose to start with one platform rather than many. PromptLab gives every team the same records and lets each one arrange how it sees them, and it is built for companies that make and sell physical products, with quotes, samples, price lists and sales orders alongside accounts and deals. Synovation gathered its teams’ work in PromptLab. Everything sits in one place, and each team can view the part it needs.

Starting this way avoids a migration later. Instead of moving years of data out of separate tools once the company has grown, Synovation’s data has been in one place from the beginning. It also kept the decision simple. Instead of choosing and paying for a different tool for every team, Synovation runs one platform that every team shares.

How Synovation uses PromptLab

Four to five teams at Synovation work in PromptLab. Three things make that work. Each of them came from the same decision: one place for everything, with room for each team to work its own way.

One platform, four to five teams

Four to five teams use PromptLab, so their work is gathered in one place instead of spread across separate tools. Accounts, contacts, deals, tasks and notes live in the same workspace, and a change made by one team is visible to the others.

Each person can arrange the sidebar for their own day, pinning the pages they use most and unpinning the rest. The platform is shared, but nobody has to wade through pages that belong to another team’s work.

Shared records also make handovers simple. When work passes from one team to another, nothing has to be sent or copied: the next team opens the same record and continues from there.

Views of the same data

Views filter, sort and arrange the same records, so each team can see its own work without keeping a separate copy of the data. A view saves its filters, columns and sort order, and opening it shows the current records every time.

A sales view might show open deals by stage, while another team’s view shows only the orders or accounts it handles. Because they read from the same records, the teams never have to reconcile two versions of a customer.

Views are quick to create and easy to change. When a team wants to see its work differently, it adjusts its own view without affecting anyone else’s, and without asking an administrator to build a report.

Managers benefit as well. A view across all teams shows the whole picture, built from the same records each team keeps up to date for its own work.

Flexible by design

Fields, lists and views can be added or changed in minutes, so the setup can keep pace with a company that is still taking shape. When a team needs to track something new, it adds a field rather than starting a new spreadsheet.

That flexibility matters most early on. A company founded in 2024 will change how it works many times as it grows, and its system needs to change with it, without a rebuild each time.

The same flexibility applies to the structure itself. Custom objects can model data that does not fit the standard records, and reports can be built on whatever the teams track, so the system grows in the directions the company does.

A foundation for what comes next

Synovation chose to put its teams on one platform while the company is still young, before separate tools could pull its data apart. Each new team or new process can be added to the same workspace, with its own views and its own fields.

As the company grows, the habit of working from one shared set of data grows with it. The laboratory, the plant and the sales team can each look at the business their own way, and still be looking at the same business.

The platform also has room for the commercial side to grow. Quotes, samples, price lists and sales orders are already part of PromptLab, ready for a manufacturer whose customers will expect samples before they buy and clear quotes when they do.
