In many markets, buyers of chemicals, packaging and building materials ask for prices on Telegram. It is fast, the chat is already open and a short answer is expected. The risk is sounding careless, so a few good replies ready to adapt make you quicker and more polite at once.
These templates are for replies and follow-ups inside a chat the buyer has started with your company's Telegram bot. They are not cold messages: the buyer wrote first. For the wider approach, read how to use Telegram for B2B sales, and see Telegram in PromptLab for how the bot connects.
Answering the first message
Hello [First name], thanks for writing to [Company]. This is [Your name]. I can help with [Product]. Please tell me the quantity and delivery location, and I'll send a price today.
Use it within minutes of a new chat starting. Ask for the two details you need to quote.
Hello [First name], thank you for your message. Our team is offline until [Time] on [Day], and I'll answer first thing. If it's urgent, call [Phone].
Use it when a message arrives at night or at the weekend.
Prices and stock
[First name], for [Product] in [Pack size]: [Price] per [Unit] at [Quantity], delivered to [Location] in about [Number] days. Valid until [Date]. Shall I send the formal quote by email?
Use it for a direct price question. Always give the validity date.
[First name], [Product] is in stock, [Quantity] available now. I can reserve it until [Day] if you confirm. After that I can't promise the quantity.
Use it when the buyer asks "do you have it?". Only say "reserve" if you really will.
[First name], to give you an accurate price I need two things: the quantity you want and the address for delivery. If you have a specification or a current supplier's product name, send that too and I'll match it.
Use it when the buyer's first message is vague, such as "price?". It saves three rounds of back and forth.
[First name], thank you. I'm confirming [Quantity] of [Product] at [Price] per [Unit], delivered to [Location]. I'll email the order confirmation now, and dispatch is planned for [Date]. Please check the details and tell me if anything is wrong.
Use it as soon as the buyer says yes in the chat. The written confirmation by email is the record; the chat reply keeps the momentum.
Quotes and samples
[First name], I've sent quote [Quote number] to your email: [Quantity] of [Product] at [Price] per [Unit]. If you prefer, I can send the PDF here too. Please tell me if anything needs to change.
Use it right after the quote leaves. The chat points to the formal document, and the email carries it.
[First name], your [Product] sample should have reached you on [Date]. Did it arrive in good condition? When you've tried it, a line on the result is enough.
Use it a couple of days after delivery. More in our sample follow-up email templates.
Orders and delivery
[First name], your order [Order number] left our warehouse today and should reach you by [Date]. Driver: [Name], [Phone]. Please tell me if there's any problem on arrival.
Use it on the day the order ships.
Following up politely
[First name], just checking whether you had a chance to look at quote [Quote number]. If the timing has changed, that's fine: tell me when to check back and I will.
Use it three or four working days after a quote, in the same chat, and not more than twice. For more ideas, see our quote follow-up email templates.
How to personalise them
- Reply in the buyer's language. Translate the template before you send it.
- One idea per message. A price, a date or a question, not all three.
- Move formal things to email. Quotes, contracts and data sheets go by email. Use Telegram to point at them.
- Wait for them to write first. Your bot answers buyers who start the chat. Do not message people who have not contacted you.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Telegram for B2B sales?
Yes, where your buyers already use it. Use it for quick questions, prices and delivery updates, and keep formal documents on email.
Can I send Telegram messages to a buyer who has not written to me?
Not through a company bot. Telegram bots can reply only to people who have started a chat with them. These templates are for conversations the buyer opened.
How long should a Telegram sales message be?
One to three lines. State what you are sending or asking, give the key figure and stop.
Should I use a personal Telegram account or a company bot?
A company bot. It keeps customer chats off personal phones and lets your team share them in one Inbox.
What about WhatsApp?
PromptLab supports a WhatsApp Business number in the same Inbox. See our WhatsApp message templates.
