Proton.ai vs PromptLab
It's built for distributors. It plugs into the ERP, from SAP and NetSuite to AS/400 green screens, and tells reps who to call, what to sell and who is due to reorder, across catalogues as large as 500,000 SKUs. The catch: pricing only after a demo, no free trial and no meeting recording.
Order history comes with you: we import quotes and sales orders from an ERP export in CSV or Excel. We then add what it leaves out, recorded and summarised meetings and one Inbox for email, WhatsApp and Telegram, at published prices.

Price and features at a glance
An ERP-driven assistant tells reps what to sell. We cover the conversations that make the sale: meetings recorded and summarised, one Inbox for email and chat, and prices you can see before you talk to anyone.
Proton.ai prices (priced by quote after a demo) and features checked on 30 September 2026 at Platform, CRM overview, Integrations. Ours are billed monthly; Enterprise is $79 a month billed yearly. See our pricing page.
Prepared before the meeting, recorded during it
Reps can prep for a call with Proton.ai's assistant and log notes by voice between stops. The meeting itself isn't recorded, so what the buyer said survives only in the rep's notes.
PromptLab writes a brief before each meeting, then records and transcribes it in over 100 languages. Afterwards you get the summary, a follow-up email draft and CRM fields filled in from the call.
Email and chat in one Inbox
Outlook and Gmail email logs to customer records there automatically. Buyers who confirm orders on WhatsApp or Telegram stay outside it, on each rep's phone.
Our email capture covers Gmail, Outlook and IMAP too, and adds WhatsApp and Telegram, on your own WhatsApp Business number and your company's bot. Every thread sits in one shared Inbox, on the right contact.
Prices on the page, trial the same day
It doesn't publish its prices. You book a demo, talk through your ERP, catalogue and setup, and get pricing and packaging from its team before you can try anything.
Anyone can see PromptLab's prices: $11.99, $23.99 or $99 a user a month. Start the 14-day trial, import a spreadsheet of accounts and see your own customers in the CRM the same day.
Ask AI, or bring Claude and ChatGPT
Pronto, its assistant, works inside it, but there's no MCP server. If your team already works in Claude or ChatGPT, neither can read or update the CRM.
With us you get both routes. Ask AI answers questions about any account or deal, and the MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT look up and update records with each user's own login, on every plan.
How to switch from Proton.ai
Four steps to move your team and your data over.
1. Export from your ERP
It reads customers, quotes and orders from your ERP, so that data is already yours. Export it as CSV or Excel from the ERP's own reports.
2. Ask for the rest
For notes, contacts and activity your reps created only there, ask its team for a CSV. It doesn't document a self-serve export.
3. Import into PromptLab
Click Import on our Accounts, Contacts or Deals list, upload the file and map the columns. Quotes, sales orders, tasks and notes import the same way.
4. Get migration support
For a larger move, our Enterprise plan includes data migration support and a dedicated account manager.

Frequently asked questions
Is Proton.ai a CRM?
Yes, and more. Its CRM is one product in an AI platform for distributors, alongside product data, e-commerce, and quote and order entry, all fed by the ERP.
Which is better, Proton.ai or PromptLab?
We are, for a team that wants to start this week at a known price. It wins for a large distributor that wants ERP data, reorder prompts and product recommendations in front of every rep. We win on meetings, chat channels and self-serve setup.
Is PromptLab cheaper than Proton.ai?
Probably, but it's hard to check: it doesn't publish prices and quotes after a demo. Ours are public, $11.99 to $99 a user a month, with a 14-day free trial before you pay.
Can I move my data over?
Yes, in two parts. Export customers, quotes and orders from your ERP, and ask your current vendor for anything created only in its platform. Then import the files from our Accounts, Contacts or Deals list and map the columns.
Who is PromptLab best for?
Distributors and manufacturers whose reps sell in meetings and messages, and who want a CRM they can set up themselves this month rather than start with an integration project.
