Pricing: $29 to $89 against $11.99 to $99
JustCall's AI Communication Suite has Team at $29, Pro at $49 and Pro Plus at $89 a user, billed annually, with Business by quote. Team, Pro and Pro Plus need at least 2 licences. Those prices buy the phone platform alone, and JustCall has a 14-day free trial with no credit card.
PromptLab has Basic at $11.99, Professional at $23.99 and Business at $99 a user, billed monthly, and calling is on Professional. So $23.99 gets the dialer and the whole CRM. A team that also pays for a CRM beside JustCall pays for both. Neither has a free plan, and PromptLab's Basic and Professional have a 14-day trial.
Recordings, summaries and coaching
Both record calls and add a transcript and a summary. JustCall records automatically by team or number rules, every recorded call gets a transcript and a summary, and AI transcription minutes are unlimited under a fair usage policy. In PromptLab every call is recorded, transcribed and summarised, and the action items land on the contact.
JustCall also sells coaching. AI call scoring, real-time agent assist and sentiment analysis start on Pro Plus at $89, and PromptLab's pricing page doesn't list them.
Dialers, numbers and SMS
JustCall's power dialer, bulk SMS campaigns and queue callback start on Pro at $49, and its SalesPro suite, by quote, has a predictive dialer of up to 10 lines. Team already includes IVR and call menu setup. PromptLab has no power dialer, no IVR, no call transfer and no voicemail drop.
JustCall offers local numbers in 70+ countries. PromptLab's Professional plan gives one local US or Canadian number. For texting, JustCall's Team plan includes 500 SMS segments, and Pro and Pro Plus include 1,000. PromptLab has two-way SMS from the same number as calls, but no mass texts.
Where JustCall is stronger
JustCall is the stronger phone for a team that dials. It has power and predictive dialers, bulk SMS campaigns and IVR, none of which PromptLab offers, and local numbers in 70+ countries, where PromptLab gives one US or Canadian number. It adds queue callback and AI call scoring on top.
It also lists 100+ CRM and data integrations on Team, and Salesforce CTI from Pro. A team that keeps its current CRM and wants a phone beside it will find more to use in JustCall.
One CRM for calls and texts
In PromptLab, each call's recording, transcript, summary and action items are logged on the contact. There is no integration to set up and nothing to sync.
Two-way SMS sits in the same inbox as email, WhatsApp and Telegram, with each text on its contact. That suits a rep who texts customers one to one rather than in bulk.
