What does each monday CRM plan include?
Basic, at $12, gives you pipelines and quotes, and Claude or ChatGPT can connect over MCP. It is built on the same board platform as monday's project and service tools. You shape boards, columns and statuses into a sales process, which is flexible, and also something someone has to design and maintain.
Standard, at $17, is the plan a team needs for meeting AI. It adds the AI notetaker, follow-up drafts, CRM autofill, the dialer, automations, email sync and the API. The $28 plan is the top published price, Ultimate is custom-priced, and single sign-on needs the Enterprise plan.
Which monday CRM plan do you need for each feature?
A tick means the $12 Basic plan has it. "From $17/month" names the cheapest plan that does.
| Feature | Plan you need |
|---|---|
| Import from CSV and Excel | ✓ |
| Deal pipelines | ✓ |
| Quotes | ✓ |

| Email sync | From $17/month |

The table shows two clusters. Everything about meetings and automation waits for Standard, so on Basic reps write up every meeting themselves. The order side of a sale is absent throughout: sales orders, sample tracking and price lists aren't there, so teams rebuild them as extra boards or keep them in spreadsheets. WhatsApp and Telegram aren't supported, and there's no way to save LinkedIn profiles.
How much does monday CRM cost for 5, 10 and 25 users?
Yearly seat totals, billed annually, for Basic and for Standard, the first plan with meeting AI and automation.
| Plan | 5 users | 10 users | 25 users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic ($12 a seat a month) | $720 (5 × $12 × 12) | $1,440 (10 × $12 × 12) | $3,600 (25 × $12 × 12) |
| Standard ($17 a seat a month) | $1,020 (5 × $17 × 12) | $2,040 (10 × $17 × 12) | $5,100 (25 × $17 × 12) |
The gap looks small per seat, $5 a month, but it is the difference between a CRM that records meetings and one that doesn't. For a 10-person team, Standard costs $2,040 a year against $1,440 on Basic.
Does monday CRM have hidden costs?
The visible unknown is Ultimate, which has no published price, so a team that needs it has to ask. The figures we checked name no onboarding fee and no paid add-ons.
The less visible cost is the build. Someone has to design the boards and keep them current, and sales orders, samples and price lists each mean another board to maintain. That is time, not a line on an invoice.
monday CRM vs PromptLab on price
PromptLab charges per user: Basic is $11.99 a month or $99 a year, Professional $23.99 a month or $199 a year, and Enterprise $99 a month or $948 a year. Basic already records meetings and runs workflow automation. There is no free plan, and Basic and Professional come with a 14-day free trial.
| Team size | monday Basic | monday Standard | PromptLab Basic, billed yearly | PromptLab Basic, billed monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 users | $720 | $1,020 | $495 | $719.40 |
| 10 users | $1,440 | $2,040 | $990 | $1,438.80 |
| 25 users | $3,600 | $5,100 | $2,475 | $3,597 |
Our columns are seats × $99 billed yearly, or seats × $11.99 × 12 billed monthly.
At entry level the prices are close. monday's Basic at $12 billed annually and our Basic at $11.99 billed monthly come to $720 and $719.40 a year for five seats, and monday puts quotes on its first plan, as we do. Billed yearly, ours drops to $99 a seat against $144. The real difference is inside the plan. monday's AI notetaker and automations start at $17, and our Basic includes both, with sales orders, samples and price lists on top.
