HubSpot and monday CRM approach a CRM from opposite ends. HubSpot is a ready-made suite, with a free CRM and marketing tools few rivals match. monday CRM is built from boards and columns that you shape into a sales process, on the same platform as monday.com's project tools.

Below, the two are compared on price, setup, quoting, AI and messaging. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pricing and product pages; prices are per user a month, billed annually, unless we say otherwise.

Pricing: $7 to $150 against $12 to $28

HubSpot starts lower: its Smart CRM is free and Sales Hub Starter is $7 a seat a month. Its paid plans go up to $150. monday CRM also has four plans, from $12 on Basic to $28, with the top plan Ultimate custom-priced.

HubSpot's Professional and Enterprise plans add a one-off onboarding fee of $1,500 to $3,500. monday CRM's price ladder is much flatter, so the cost of reaching the features you want is smaller.

Boards you shape against a suite that is ready

monday CRM is the friendliest way to build a CRM from boards, columns and statuses. The flexibility is real, but someone has to design the sales process and then maintain it. It suits a company that already runs on monday.com and wants sales on the same boards.

HubSpot arrives as a suite and extends into marketing, where its automation goes far beyond a sales CRM. The choice is between building the shape you want and accepting a suite's shape.

Quotes and orders

monday CRM includes quotes from its $12 Basic plan. HubSpot moved quoting into Revenue Hub, a separate product sold on top of Sales Hub, so it is an add-on.

Neither offers sales orders, price lists or sample tracking. Teams selling products tend to rebuild those as extra boards on monday or keep them in spreadsheets next to HubSpot.

Calls, meetings and AI

monday CRM gathers its AI features on Standard at $17 a seat: call recording, meeting summaries, follow-up drafts and CRM fields filled in from calls. Automations and email sync start there too.

HubSpot includes AI meeting summaries from its entry plan, but call recording, follow-up drafts and filling CRM fields from calls start on Sales Hub Professional at $90. Both support MCP for Claude or ChatGPT.

Messaging, LinkedIn and security

monday CRM supports neither WhatsApp nor Telegram, so those conversations stay off the board. HubSpot sells WhatsApp as an add-on and does not support Telegram.

HubSpot saves LinkedIn profiles from its $150 tier and offers single sign-on there too. monday has no LinkedIn saving and keeps single sign-on for its Enterprise plan.

We make PromptLab, so here is where it fits.
