Pricing: $12 or $14 to start

monday CRM has four plans from $12 to $28 a seat, with its Ultimate plan custom-priced. Pipedrive also has four, from $14 to $79. Both offer a free trial.

monday's entry plan is $2 cheaper and its listed top plan is much cheaper, but its Basic plan leaves out most of the automation and AI. What each cheap plan includes decides the real cost.

Boards you design against a pipeline that's ready

monday CRM's flexibility is real: you shape boards into the sales process you want. Someone has to design that process and then maintain it. Pipedrive starts from the deal pipeline, which many reps already know, so there is less to build.

The trade-off is control. A company already running on monday.com may prefer sales on the same boards as its projects, while a team that wants a sales tool ready to use will find Pipedrive closer to that.

Quotes and orders

monday CRM includes quotes on its $12 Basic plan. Pipedrive's quotes start on Premium at $59, which is a clear point in monday's favour for a team that sends quotes early.

Beyond quotes, neither has sales orders, sample tracking or price lists. Pipedrive keeps a product catalogue; on monday, teams rebuild these as extra boards or keep them in spreadsheets.

AI, calls and automation

Pipedrive's Nova adds pre-call briefs, call recording, meeting summaries and CRM updates on every plan from $14, and its MCP server connects Claude and ChatGPT. Follow-up email drafts start on Premium at $59, and workflow automation and the dialer on Growth at $39.

On monday CRM the AI notetaker, follow-up drafts, CRM autofill, automations, dialer and API all start on Standard at $17. On Basic, reps write up meetings themselves. MCP is available. Pipedrive gives more AI on its first plan; monday gets automation sooner, at $17 against $39.

Email, messaging and security

Email sync starts on monday's Standard at $17 and on Pipedrive's Growth at $39. WhatsApp is available on Pipedrive from $39, while monday doesn't support it; neither supports Telegram.

LinkedIn profiles need a marketplace app on Pipedrive, and monday doesn't offer it. Single sign-on is included on Pipedrive and sits on monday's Enterprise plan.
