Pricing: $35 to $107 against $11.99 to $99

Proposify's Build is $35 a user, Grow is $65 with 5 users included ($3,900 a year), and Scale is $12,800 a year with 10 users and onboarding, which its page lists as $107 a user. Extra users cost $780 a year. There is a 14-day trial with no card and no free plan.

PromptLab runs from Basic at $11.99 to Business at $99, billed monthly, with a 14-day trial. Billed yearly on both sides, Proposify Build is $420 a user and PromptLab Basic $99. Proposify's price is the proposal tool alone; PromptLab's is the CRM, with the quote, sales order and invoice on the deal.

Proposals against quotes

Proposify is built for the designed document. Its editor, product catalogue, content library and document insights are in every plan, and every plan has unlimited documents. Custom template design is extra: $1,500 on Build.

PromptLab builds quotes from your products and price lists, with a discount on each line, from Basic. The customer gets a PDF and a link. The status runs Draft, Pending, Approved. It has no quote templates, no tax lines and no designed proposal documents.

After the document is sent

Proposify includes e-signatures and payments, through Stripe, on every plan. Its analytics show when each recipient opens a document and how long they spend in each section. PromptLab has none of the three: no e-signatures, no payments, no view tracking.

PromptLab goes further after the yes. The approved quote becomes a sales order, with its invoice, on the same deal. Proposify's pricing page doesn't list sales orders.

Where Proposify is stronger

Anything the buyer reads, signs and pays on. Proposify has the editor and the content library on every plan, approval workflows and user roles from Grow, and a paid template design service.

It also connects to 21 CRMs, among them HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho and Copper, so it can sit beside the CRM you already use.
