What does each Copper plan include?

Basic, at $23, gives you the pipeline, Gmail and Calendar, Drive and Contacts sync, and LinkedIn prospects added without switching tabs. Living inside Gmail is the point of the product, and also its limit: Gmail is the only inbox Copper syncs.

Professional, at $59, is where Copper starts to automate, with workflows, the API and follow-up drafts. The top plan, at $99, adds single sign-on. Basic caps at 2,500 contacts, which a distributor with a long customer list can hit quickly.

Which Copper plan do you need for each feature?

A tick means the $23 Basic plan has it. "From $59/month" names the cheapest plan that does. "Via marketplace" means a third-party app.

Two things matter for a product team. Quotes come from a marketplace app, and there is no sales order, sample tracking or price list at all, so the deal lives in Copper while the paperwork lives elsewhere. And Copper has no meeting recording, no meeting summaries, no CRM autofill and no MCP connection on any plan.

How much does Copper cost for 5, 10 and 25 users?

Yearly seat totals, billed annually, at Basic and at Professional, the first plan with workflows and the API.

Plan5 users10 users25 users
Basic ($23 a seat a month)$1,380 (5 × $23 × 12)$2,760 (10 × $23 × 12)$6,900 (25 × $23 × 12)
Professional ($59 a seat a month)$3,540 (5 × $59 × 12)$7,080 (10 × $59 × 12)$17,700 (25 × $59 × 12)

A 10-person team on Basic pays $2,760 a year with no automation. Professional, for the same 10 people, is $7,080.

What are Copper's hidden costs?

The contact cap is the first. Basic stops at 2,500 contacts, so a team with a long customer list can be pushed to Professional before it wants any of Professional's features.

The second is the marketplace. Quotes, WhatsApp and the dialer reach Copper only through marketplace apps, such as PandaDoc for quotes, and those apps aren't part of the Copper seat. Then there's the inbox: if part of your team runs on Outlook, their customer threads never reach the account.

Copper vs PromptLab on price

PromptLab sells three plans, all per user: Basic at $11.99 a month or $99 a year, Professional at $23.99 a month or $199 a year, and Enterprise at $99 a month or $948 a year. Quotes, workflows and meeting recording are on Basic. There is no free plan, and Basic and Professional come with a 14-day free trial.

10 users$2,760$7,080$990$1,438.80
25 users$6,900$17,700$2,475$3,597

Our columns are seats × $99 billed yearly, or seats × $11.99 × 12 billed monthly.

Copper's strength isn't its price. If your whole team lives in Gmail and wants the lightest CRM possible, with projects tracked next to deals, its in-inbox design is hard to beat. On cost, our Basic at $99 a seat a year is less than half of Copper's Basic at $276, and it includes workflows, quotes and meeting recording. Copper keeps the first for Professional, leaves quotes to a marketplace app and doesn't record meetings.

Is Copper worth it for a product sales team?

Copper suits a small Google Workspace team that wants the lightest possible tool and projects next to deals. A B2B team that quotes, samples and ships products pays more per seat than it would with us and still finds wide gaps: no sales orders, no recording, and quotes through a second app. We recommend PromptLab.
