monday CRM review

Our monday CRM review for B2B product sales: board flexibility and quotes on the first plan, against missing sales orders, samples, price lists and WhatsApp.

REVIEW 2026monday CRM

We make PromptLab, a competing CRM, so we're not an impartial judge. We quote monday.com's own pricing and product pages, and we point out where monday CRM is stronger.

The verdict: monday CRM is the friendliest way to build a CRM out of boards and columns, and quotes come with its first plan. For a team selling products it leaves a lot to build: no sales orders, samples or price lists, and the AI and automation features start a tier up.

What monday CRM does well

Boards bend to your process. If you have ever shaped a project board, you can shape a pipeline. Its flexibility and ease of use are real strengths.

Quotes are on the first plan. Basic, at $12 a seat a month billed annually, already handles quotes and invoices. HubSpot sells quoting as an add-on, and Pipedrive and Salesforce keep it for higher plans.

One workspace for sales and the rest. If your company already runs projects and service on monday.com, sales can sit on the same boards. That shared workspace is the strongest reason to pick it.

Low entry prices. It has four plans: the published prices run from $12 to $28 a seat a month, billed annually, and Ultimate is custom-priced. There's a free trial.

Claude and ChatGPT can connect. monday CRM supports MCP on its plans, so an AI assistant can work with your CRM data.

Where monday CRM falls short for B2B product sales

The board model that makes it flexible also means the product-sale records aren't there until you build them.

  • No sales orders, sample tracking or customer price lists. Teams rebuild them as extra boards or keep them in spreadsheets.
  • The AI notetaker, follow-up drafts and CRM autofill start on Standard at $17 a seat. On Basic, reps write up every meeting themselves.
  • Workflow automation, email sync, the dialer and the API start at $17 too, so the entry plan is thin.
  • No WhatsApp and no Telegram. Buyers who message a rep directly leave no trace on the board.
  • No LinkedIn tool. Single sign-on needs the Enterprise plan.
  • Design work. Someone has to design the sales process and then maintain it as the team changes.

The real entry price for a product team is therefore the $17 tier, with orders and samples built by hand. Our monday CRM pricing post shows how that adds up.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Manufacturers and distributors who track samples, price lists and orders.
  • Teams whose customers reply on WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • Sales leaders who want a CRM ready on day one, not boards to configure.

Our verdict

Choose monday CRM if your company lives on monday.com and values flexibility over a ready-made sales process. It is easy and cheap to start.

Choose PromptLab if you'd rather start from a ready-made sales process. The first plan, at $11.99 a user a month billed monthly, covers quotes, sales orders, samples and price lists, records and summarises meetings, and brings WhatsApp and Telegram into the Inbox.
