Zoho CRM review

A fair Zoho CRM review for B2B product sales: its low prices and wide suite, against missing sample tracking, meeting summaries and Telegram.

REVIEW 2026Zoho CRM

We make PromptLab, a competing CRM, so we aren't neutral. What follows sticks to Zoho's published plans and features, and where Zoho is ahead, we say so.

The verdict: Zoho CRM is the value pick among the big generalists: a free tier for three users, low prices and a suite of more than 50 apps next door. For a product sale it is thinner than the price suggests, with no sample tracking, no AI meeting summaries and no Telegram.

What Zoho CRM does well

The price is low. There is a free CRM for up to three users, and four paid plans run from $14 to $52 a seat a month, billed annually. Among the big generalist CRMs, it is the value pick.

The suite is wide. More than 50 Zoho apps, from Books to Desk, sit beside the CRM. A company that wants accounting, a help desk and CRM from one vendor can get them.

Quotes and orders come in cheaply. Quotes, sales orders and price books start at $23 a seat a month. That is lower than Salesforce, where the same features start at $100.

WhatsApp is built in. It works inside the CRM, where HubSpot, Salesforce and Dynamics 365 Sales sell it as an add-on. Workflows, the API and email sync are included, and MCP is supported for Claude and ChatGPT.

More arrives at $23. The same $23 plan that adds quotes also adds follow-up email drafts and LinkedIn profile saving. Single sign-on starts at $40.

Where Zoho CRM falls short for B2B product sales

Zoho's breadth hides some gaps that product teams notice quickly.

  • Sample tracking isn't built in at any tier. Samples go out untracked or on a spreadsheet.
  • AI meeting summaries aren't offered. What was agreed on a video call depends on the rep's notes.
  • Call recording comes through marketplace telephony apps, not the CRM itself, and so does the dialer.
  • CRM autofill from calls starts at $40 a seat.
  • Telegram isn't supported. Where customers prefer it, chats stay on personal phones.
  • Assembly. Running a product sale can mean stitching CRM modules, marketplace telephony and other Zoho apps together.

A team of ten that wants quotes, orders and price books starts at the $23 tier, which is $230 a month billed annually, then adds a telephony app from the marketplace for call recording. That's still cheap, but you're now maintaining several pieces. Our Zoho CRM pricing post has the totals.

Our verdict

Choose Zoho CRM if the suite is the point: one vendor for CRM, accounting and support, at a low price. Its free plan and quote features are real advantages.

Choose PromptLab if you sell products and want one focused app. Quotes, sales orders, price lists and sample tracking come on the $11.99 plan, and meetings are recorded and summarised natively, with Telegram beside WhatsApp and email.
