HubSpot and Zoho CRM are both sold as more than a CRM. HubSpot is the polished all-in-one suite, with marketing tools few rivals match. Zoho CRM is the value pick among the big generalists, one product in a suite of more than 50 business apps.

Below, the two are compared on price, quoting, calls and AI, and messaging. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pricing and product pages; prices are per user a month, billed annually, unless we say otherwise.

Pricing: free tiers, then very different ceilings

Both have a free way in. HubSpot's Smart CRM is free, and Zoho CRM is free for up to three users. On paid plans, HubSpot starts at $7 a seat a month on Starter and runs to $150; Zoho CRM runs from $14 to $52 across four plans.

HubSpot's Professional and Enterprise plans carry a one-off onboarding fee of $1,500 to $3,500. The features that cost extra differ on each, as the sections below show.

Quotes, orders and price lists

Zoho CRM covers more of the paperwork of a product sale. Quotes, sales orders and price books all start at $23 a user a month. HubSpot moved quoting into Revenue Hub, a separate product sold on top of Sales Hub, and has no sales orders or price lists.

Neither tracks product samples. Zoho does not model them at any tier, and HubSpot does not either, so a team that sends trial batches keeps that list elsewhere.

Calls, meetings and AI

HubSpot records and transcribes calls from Sales Hub Professional at $90 a seat. The same plan drafts follow-up emails and fills CRM fields from calls, and AI meeting summaries are included from the entry plan.

Zoho's call recording comes through telephony apps from its marketplace, and it offers no AI meeting summaries. Follow-up drafts start at $23, and filling CRM fields from calls starts at $40. Both support MCP for connecting Claude or ChatGPT.

Breadth: marketing against a wider app suite

HubSpot's marketing automation goes far beyond a sales CRM, which is why it wins when marketing and sales must run in one suite.

Zoho's strength is the other kind of breadth: more than 50 apps, from Books to Desk, so a company can take accounting, a help desk and CRM from one vendor at a low price. Workflows, the API and email sync are in the entry plan on both.

Messaging, LinkedIn and security

WhatsApp works inside Zoho CRM on its entry plan, while on HubSpot it is an add-on. Neither supports Telegram.

Saving LinkedIn profiles starts at $23 on Zoho and $150 on HubSpot. Single sign-on starts at $40 on Zoho and on HubSpot's $150 tier.
