Pipedrive is a sales CRM built around the deal pipeline and known for being easy to learn. Zoho CRM is the sales product inside a suite of more than 50 business apps.
Below, the two are compared on price, quoting, calls and AI, automation and messaging. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pricing and product pages; prices are per user a month, billed annually.

Pricing: a free plan against a lower ceiling
Zoho CRM is free for up to three users, and its four paid plans run from $14 to $52 a user a month. Pipedrive has four plans too, from $14 to $79. Both offer a free trial, and both start paid plans at the same $14.
The top end is where they part ways: Zoho's most expensive plan costs $27 less than Pipedrive's. Neither headline tells you what the cheap plan lacks, so read the sections below before comparing the $14 entries.
Quotes, orders and price lists
Zoho CRM includes quotes, sales orders and price books from $23 a user a month. Pipedrive has a product catalogue but no sales orders and no price lists, and quotes wait for its $59 Premium plan.
Neither tracks product samples. A team that sends trial batches keeps a spreadsheet beside either CRM. For a team that quotes against agreed prices, Zoho gets there earlier and for less.
Calls, meetings and AI
Pipedrive's Nova adds pre-call briefs, call recording and CRM updates on every plan, and its MCP server connects Claude and ChatGPT. Meeting summaries are included too, and follow-up email drafts start on Premium at $59.
Zoho CRM gets call recording through telephony apps in its marketplace and has no AI meeting summaries. Follow-up drafts start at $23, and filling CRM fields from calls starts at $40. It also supports MCP. If recorded, summarised calls matter, Pipedrive is the more complete answer from day one.
Automation, email and the dialer
Zoho CRM includes workflow automation, email sync and WhatsApp in its feature set from the entry plan. On Pipedrive all three, plus the dialer, start on Growth at $39 a seat. On its $14 Lite plan a team sets up follow-ups by hand and has no full email sync.
Zoho's dialer comes through marketplace apps. Both have an API.
Ecosystem, LinkedIn and security
Zoho's strength is breadth: more than 50 apps, from Books to Desk, next to the CRM. Pipedrive's is its marketplace of 500+ apps, its mobile apps and a pipeline view many reps already know.
Saving LinkedIn profiles needs a marketplace app on Pipedrive and Zoho's $23 plan. Single sign-on is included on Pipedrive and starts at $40 on Zoho. Neither supports Telegram.
