Pricing: $19 to $39 against $11.99 to $99

Avoma's Startup is $19 per recorder seat a month, Organization $29 and Enterprise $39; Avoma's Enterprise is billed annually only and needs at least 10 paid seats. PromptLab's plans are Basic at $11.99, Professional at $23.99 and Business at $99, billed monthly, with meeting notes on Basic.

Avoma's plan is the meeting assistant alone, and only people who record need a seat. PromptLab's is the whole CRM, with the notes included. A team that also pays for a CRM pays for both. Avoma's Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence are $29 add-ons per seat a month on top.

Avoma's add-ons: conversations and revenue

Avoma sells Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence as add-ons, and global Ask Avoma, across all conversations, comes with the Conversation Intelligence add-on or Enterprise. Organization adds custom AI templates, translation and API access. Unlimited 1:1 scheduling links are included on every plan.

PromptLab's meeting notes sit on the deal, next to the quotes, sales orders and invoices kept on that same deal. Its dashboards and report builder run on CRM data, including deals, calls and meetings.

Languages, recording and trials

Avoma transcribes in 70+ languages; PromptLab in more than 30. Avoma records on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WebEx and GoToMeeting, with bot-less native recording or a bot. PromptLab's bot joins Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, and it has no bot-free recorder.

Avoma has no free plan, only a 14-day trial of the Organization plan with all add-ons. PromptLab has no free plan either, and a 14-day trial on Basic and Professional.

Follow-ups, Ask AI and CRM sync

Avoma's Startup includes AI follow-up emails and Ask Avoma for a single meeting, and saves notes automatically to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper records. PromptLab drafts a follow-up email, turns action items into CRM tasks on the deal and its contacts, and its Ask AI can search across meeting transcripts, all on Basic.

In PromptLab the notes sit on the deal, so nothing syncs. It does not fill CRM fields after every meeting on its own; that autofill is run by the user.

Where Avoma is stronger

Avoma is stronger when meetings are the thing you manage. It lists 70+ languages against PromptLab's 30+, records without a bot, which PromptLab doesn't, and gives viewers and collaborators free seats. It also sells Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence as add-ons.

It works beside the CRM you have, too: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper, from its first paid plan. If your team won't leave one of those, Avoma adds to it.

Which should you choose?

Choose Avoma if…

  • You want conversation and revenue intelligence add-ons on top of meeting notes.
  • Your CRM is Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive or Copper, and you want notes saved to it.
  • You need 70+ languages, bot-less recording, or free viewer seats.

Choose PromptLab if…

  • You want meeting notes beside the quotes, sales orders and invoices on the same deal.
  • You want action items turned into CRM tasks without copying them over.
  • You'd rather pay for one CRM than a CRM and a meeting assistant.

Frequently asked questions

Is PromptLab an Avoma alternative?

For meeting notes, yes: PromptLab records Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls and writes transcripts, summaries and follow-ups. It is a CRM first, so it suits teams who want the notes on their deals rather than in a separate meeting tool.

Is Avoma cheaper than PromptLab?

Not on the entry plans: Avoma Startup is $19 per recorder seat a month billed annually, against $11.99 for PromptLab Basic billed monthly. Avoma charges only people who record, though, so a team where few record buys fewer seats. PromptLab's price also includes the CRM.

Can PromptLab replace Avoma?

If you need recorded meetings with summaries, tasks and follow-ups on your deals, yes. If you rely on bot-less recording, no: PromptLab records with a bot. It also lists more than 30 transcription languages against Avoma's 70+.

Does Avoma work with a CRM?

Yes. It saves notes automatically to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper records, starting on the Startup plan.

Is there a CRM with an AI note-taker built in?

Yes. PromptLab records Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls, transcribes them in more than 30 languages, summarises them and turns action items into CRM tasks, on every plan from $11.99 a user a month with a 14-day free trial.
