Pricing: $19 to $39 against $10 to $39

Avoma has three plans, priced per recorder seat: Startup at $19, Organization at $29 and Enterprise at $39. Viewers and collaborators are free, so only the people who record need a paid seat. Fireflies charges $10 for Pro, $19 for Business and $39 for Enterprise.

Both top out at $39 and both bill Enterprise annually only. Avoma's Enterprise has a minimum of 10 paid seats, and its Startup plan is capped at 25 paid seats.

Free plan and trial

Fireflies has a free plan, with unlimited transcription, limited AI summaries and 400 minutes of storage per team. Avoma has no free plan.

Avoma offers a 14-day trial of its Organization plan with all add-ons, with no credit card needed. After the trial, an account becomes a viewer account until you buy seats.

Languages and recording

Fireflies transcribes in 100+ languages; Avoma supports 70+. Avoma adds translation of transcripts and notes on its Organization plan.

Avoma records Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WebEx and GoToMeeting, with either bot-less native recording or a bot. Fireflies covers Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, and has a Chrome extension that records without the bot.

Follow-ups and Ask AI

Both draft follow-ups. Avoma includes AI follow-up emails on every plan. On Fireflies, Pro adds AI Skills, which can generate follow-up emails from your meetings.

Fireflies has AskFred for questions about your meetings. Avoma's Ask Avoma covers a single meeting; asking across all conversations is global Ask Avoma, on Enterprise at $39 or in the $29 Conversation Intelligence add-on.

CRM sync and extras

Avoma saves notes automatically to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper records from its $19 plan. Fireflies lists HubSpot and Salesforce among its integrations, and its Pro plan includes unlimited integrations.

Avoma also includes unlimited 1:1 scheduling links and sells Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence as $29 add-ons. Fireflies puts conversation intelligence into Business at $19.

We make PromptLab, so here is where it fits.

Or record meetings inside your CRM

PromptLab is a CRM with a notetaker built in. Its bot joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, records them and writes a transcript in more than 30 languages.

After the call you get a summary, the action items as CRM tasks on the deal and its contacts, and a follow-up email drafted for you. The notes sit on the deal they belong to, so there is nothing to sync.
