Dynamics 365 Sales and Pipedrive sit at opposite ends of the effort scale. Dynamics gives an admin environments, security roles, apps, licences and Copilot credits to decide, and many companies bring in a Microsoft partner. Pipedrive is built around the deal pipeline and is one of the easiest sales CRMs to learn.

Pricing: $65 to $150 against $14 to $79

Dynamics 365 Sales has three plans from $65 to $150 a user a month. Pipedrive has four plans from $14 to $79. Both come with a free trial.

Pipedrive's top plan, at $79, is only $14 above Dynamics' first. For quotes, Pipedrive's Premium costs $59 against $65 for Dynamics Professional, though only Dynamics adds sales orders and price lists.

Setup: a Microsoft project against a pipeline reps know

Dynamics 365 Sales is the natural CRM for a Microsoft company, working inside Outlook and Teams. The cost of that depth is configuration, and a Microsoft partner often does the work.

Pipedrive's pipeline view is one many reps already know. Around it sit mobile apps and a marketplace of 500+ apps.

Quotes, orders and price lists

This is where Dynamics is ahead. Quotes, sales orders and price lists are built in from Professional at $65.

Pipedrive has a product catalogue and offers quotes on Premium at $59, but no sales orders or price lists. Neither tracks samples.

Calls, meetings and AI assistants

Pipedrive puts call recording, meeting summaries and CRM autofill on every plan through Nova, its meeting intelligence, and includes MCP from $14 too. Follow-up drafts start at $59 and its dialer at $39.

On Dynamics, recording, summaries, drafts and the dialer start on Enterprise at $105, and autofill and MCP on Premium at $150. Its MCP server needs Copilot Studio admin rights and Copilot credits.

Automation, WhatsApp and LinkedIn

Dynamics includes workflows and email sync. On Pipedrive, workflow automation and full email sync start on Growth at $39.

WhatsApp is an add-on on Dynamics and starts at $39 on Pipedrive. LinkedIn tools are an add-on on Dynamics and need a marketplace app on Pipedrive. Neither supports Telegram, and both include single sign-on.

We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.
