Salesforce and Pipedrive both sell sales CRMs, to very different buyers. Pipedrive is built around a visual deal pipeline and is one of the easiest sales CRMs to learn. Salesforce Sales Cloud is a platform, configured to fit a company's own process.
Below, the two are compared on price, quotes, calls and AI, and messaging. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pricing and product pages; prices are per user a month, billed annually, unless we say otherwise.

Pricing: four plans against five editions
Pipedrive has four plans, from $14 to $79 a seat. Salesforce Sales Cloud has five editions, from $25 to $550. The two start close together and finish a long way apart.
Pipedrive's plans are Lite at $14, Growth at $39 and Premium at $59, with a top plan at $79. Automation, WhatsApp and the dialer begin on Growth, and quotes on Premium.
Quotes and orders
Pipedrive adds quotes on Premium at $59. It has a product catalogue but no sales orders and no price lists. Salesforce offers quotes, price lists and orders from Pro Suite at $100 a user.
Neither tracks samples. For a business that sells products, Salesforce covers more of the order side, at a higher price; with Pipedrive the quote is there but orders and agreed prices live elsewhere.
Call recording and AI
Pipedrive's AI, Nova, adds pre-call briefs, call recording and CRM updates on every plan, from $14. Follow-up email drafts start on Premium at $59. It also has an MCP server on every plan.
On Salesforce, recording, meeting summaries and follow-up drafts sit in Sales Engagement, an add-on at $50 a user. Filling CRM fields from calls and MCP start at $195. On call recording and quotes, Pipedrive is the cheaper option.
Setup and customisation
Pipedrive is easy to learn, and its marketplace has 500+ apps and mobile apps. Reps can follow a deal pipeline they recognise from day one.
Salesforce is the most configurable of the two. Custom objects, flows and AppExchange can model almost any process, but a rollout usually means an admin or an implementation partner, and the sales team waits until it is done.
Automation, email and messaging
On Pipedrive, workflow automation, email sync, WhatsApp and the dialer all start on Growth at $39, and none of the four is on Lite. On Salesforce, workflows and email sync are included, WhatsApp and the dialer are add-ons.
Neither supports Telegram. LinkedIn comes through marketplace apps on both. Single sign-on is included on each, and the API is on every Pipedrive plan but starts at $195 on Salesforce.

Salesforce vs PromptLab, in fullSamples and customer prices on the account
We log every sample request on the account and the deal, and keep each customer's price list beside it. Reps quote from agreed prices, not memory, on every plan.
Pipedrive vs PromptLab, in fullRecording and autofill without an add-on
We do all of it on every plan: we record the meeting, write the summary, draft the follow-up email and update the deal from what the customer actually said.
