Pricing: $23 to $99 against $14 to $52

Copper has three plans from $23 to $99 a seat. Zoho CRM's four paid plans run from $14 to $52, and it's free for up to three users. Both offer a free trial.

Zoho is cheaper at both ends: $9 less to start and $47 less at the top. Copper's Basic plan also stops at 2,500 contacts, and its workflows, API and follow-up drafts wait for Professional at $59. Zoho includes workflows and the API from $14.

Inside Google Workspace, or inside the Zoho suite

Copper runs inside Gmail and Calendar and syncs Drive and Contacts on every plan. Gmail is the only inbox it syncs. It tracks projects next to deals, which suits a small team that lives in Google.

Zoho CRM is one app in a family of more than 50, from Books to Desk, so accounting and a help desk can come from the same vendor.

Quotes, orders and price books

Zoho CRM adds quotes, sales orders and price books from $23. Copper gets quotes through a marketplace app and has no sales orders or price lists.

Neither has sample tracking. If you sell products, Zoho gets you much further inside the CRM itself.

AI and calls

Copper has no call recording, no meeting summaries, no CRM autofill and no MCP. It writes follow-up drafts from Professional at $59.

Zoho CRM records calls through marketplace apps and has no AI meeting summaries. It drafts follow-ups from $23, fills fields from calls from $40, and supports MCP on every plan.

Messaging, LinkedIn and security

WhatsApp works inside Zoho CRM and reaches Copper through marketplace apps. Neither supports Telegram.

LinkedIn saving is on every Copper plan and starts at $23 on Zoho. Single sign-on starts at $99 on Copper and $40 on Zoho.

We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.

Why PromptLab is the better choice for teams that sell products

PromptLab is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products. On their entry plans, neither Copper nor Zoho CRM includes quotes, sales orders, sample tracking, price lists, meeting recording and AI meeting summaries. PromptLab has all of them on every plan, from $11.99 a user a month.

  • Emails landing on a customer's activity timeline

Every inbox captured, not just Gmail

We capture email from Gmail, Outlook and any IMAP mailbox on every plan, and file each message on the right contact. A mixed team still gets one history per customer.
