Salesforce and Zoho CRM sit far apart on price. Salesforce Sales Cloud is the most configurable CRM there is, with AppExchange behind it. Zoho CRM is the value pick among the big generalists, with dozens of Zoho apps next door.
Below, the two are compared on price, quoting, calls and AI, and messaging. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pricing and product pages; prices are per user a month, billed annually, unless we say otherwise.

Pricing: $14 to $52 against $25 to $550
Zoho CRM is free for up to three users, and its four paid plans run from $14 to $52 a user a month. Salesforce Sales Cloud has five editions, from $25 to $550.
Zoho CRM's top plan is $52 a seat, less than Salesforce's $100 Pro Suite. What the extra money buys on Salesforce is customisation and a larger ecosystem.
Quotes, orders and price lists
Zoho CRM adds quotes, sales orders and price books from $23 a user a month. On Salesforce, quotes, price lists and orders start at Pro Suite, $100 a user.
Neither tracks product samples. Salesforce teams build a custom object; Zoho users go without or use a spreadsheet.
Call recording, AI and MCP
Zoho CRM records calls through telephony apps from its marketplace and has no AI meeting summaries. It drafts follow-ups from $23 and fills CRM fields from calls from $40. Salesforce puts recording, meeting summaries and follow-up drafts in Sales Engagement, a $50-a-user add-on, and fills fields from calls from $195.
On MCP, Zoho CRM has it available, while Salesforce supports it from $195 a user and sells its own Agentforce AI. The API follows the same split: included with Zoho CRM, and from $195 on Salesforce.
Ecosystem: one suite or one platform
Zoho's strength is breadth. The CRM is one of more than 50 Zoho apps, so a company can run accounting, a help desk and sales from one vendor at a low price.
Salesforce's strength is depth. Custom objects, flows and AppExchange let it model almost any sales process, though that usually means an admin or an implementation partner to build it.
Messaging, LinkedIn and security
Zoho CRM includes WhatsApp, while it is an add-on on Salesforce. Neither supports Telegram. Gmail and Outlook email sync comes with both.
LinkedIn tools start at $23 on Zoho CRM and come through marketplace apps on Salesforce. Single sign-on is included on Salesforce and starts at $40 on Zoho CRM.
