Breakcold is one plan at $99 a month with one seat included, $10 for each extra seat, and 20% less billed annually. It has a free trial. Proton.ai has custom pricing by quote after a demo, and no free trial.

Proton.ai plugs into the ERP, from SAP and NetSuite to AS/400 green screens, and works across catalogues as large as 500,000 SKUs. It tells reps who to call and who is due to reorder.

Proton.ai has quotes and sales orders built in, fed by the ERP. Breakcold has neither, though it lets you build custom objects that your team would design and maintain.

AI, calls and MCP

Both draft follow-ups and fill CRM fields from calls. Breakcold also records meetings, summarises them and supports MCP, so Claude or ChatGPT can connect. Proton.ai has no recording, no summaries and no MCP.

The catch on Breakcold is metering: call recording, AI workflows and email or phone lookups spend tokens, and its own example puts 300 active contacts at about $90 a month extra.

Messaging and security

Breakcold has WhatsApp, Telegram and LinkedIn in its inbox. Proton.ai has none of the three. Both sync email, run workflows and offer an API.
