Our pick for product teams

Attio and Breakcold are both new, AI-first CRMs, but they ask for different things from you. Attio hands you a data model to design, and lets up to three seats use it free. Breakcold is built for social selling, with LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram and email in one inbox.

Below, the two are compared on price, setup, calls and AI, messaging, and quotes. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pricing and product pages. Attio's prices are per seat a month, billed annually; Breakcold's are monthly unless we say otherwise.

Pricing: free to $79 a seat against $99 plus $10 a seat

Attio has a free plan for up to three seats, then paid plans from $35 to $79 a seat a month, billed annually. Breakcold has a single plan at $99 a month with one seat included and $10 for each extra seat. Billed annually it comes to 20% less. Both offer a free trial.

For a team of three, Attio costs nothing and Breakcold costs $119 (the $99 plan plus two extra seats). At five seats on Attio's $35 plan the bill is $175, against $139 on Breakcold, or $111.20 billed annually. Past the free plan, Breakcold is the cheaper of the two, though its AI use is metered in tokens beyond 3,000 included AI actions.

A data model to design against a ready-made inbox

Attio is a blank canvas. You define every object, attribute and workflow yourself, which suits a team that wants to shape its own CRM and has someone to do it.

Breakcold arrives with a job already in mind: social selling. It also lets you build custom objects, but its centre is the inbox where LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram and email threads meet, and the agencies, startups and consultants it's built for can start there.

Calls, meetings and AI

Attio's Call Intelligence, follow-up drafts, meeting summaries and CRM autofill all start on the $79 Pro plan. Below it, nothing records the call. Attio does have AI agents and its own MCP server, so Claude or ChatGPT can connect.

Breakcold has a meeting recorder, summaries, follow-up drafts and CRM autofill on its one plan, plus MCP. The catch is how AI is paid for: recording, AI workflows and email or phone lookups spend tokens, and its own example puts 300 active contacts at about $90 a month extra.

WhatsApp, Telegram and LinkedIn

Here the gap is wide. Breakcold supports WhatsApp, Telegram and LinkedIn, and keeps them in one inbox with email. Attio syncs email but has no WhatsApp or Telegram, and LinkedIn capture comes through a marketplace app.

On Attio, when a buyer replies on WhatsApp, the thread sits on one rep's phone, out of the team's sight.

Quotes, sales orders and single sign-on

Neither includes quotes, sales orders, samples or price lists, so a team selling products designs those objects itself in either tool, or keeps them in spreadsheets.

Attio offers single sign-on on its Enterprise plan. Breakcold has none. Both have workflows, an API and email sync.

We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.

Why PromptLab is the better choice for teams that sell products

PromptLab is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products. On their entry plans, neither Attio nor Breakcold includes quotes, sales orders, sample tracking and price lists. PromptLab has all of them on every plan, from $11.99 a user a month.

  • A price list with a different price for each customer

Sales objects ready-made, not built from scratch

We ship all four on the account and the deal from the Basic plan. Set up your customer price lists and create the first quote in the same week you sign up.

PromptLab ships all four on the account and the deal. Log a sample request, quote from the customer's price list and follow the sales order, on every plan from $11.99.

  • A call transcript with a highlighted line

Call recording from $11.99, not $79

We record calls on our $11.99 Basic plan, in over 100 languages. After the call you get a summary and a follow-up draft; before the next one, a brief on the account.
