Pricing: $23 to $99 a seat against $99 for one plan

Copper has three plans from $23 to $99 a seat, billed annually. Breakcold has one plan at $99 a month with one seat included, and $10 for each extra seat. It's 20% less billed annually. Both offer a free trial.

For two users, Copper's $23 plan comes to $46 a month against $109 at Breakcold, before its annual discount. Workflows and follow-up drafts, which Breakcold includes, need Copper's $59 plan, where two users cost $118. Breakcold's extra seats cost $10, less than any Copper plan, though its AI is token-metered beyond 3,000 included actions.

A Gmail CRM, or a social-selling inbox

Copper runs inside Gmail and Calendar, syncs Drive and Contacts on every plan, and tracks projects next to deals. Gmail is the only inbox it syncs.

Breakcold puts LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram and email into one inbox. For a team that sells through social channels and chat, that inbox is the product.

AI, calls and MCP

Breakcold records meetings, summarises them, drafts follow-ups, fills CRM fields from calls and supports MCP, all on its one plan. Copper has none of recording, summaries, autofill or MCP, and drafts follow-ups only from the $59 plan.

The cost of Breakcold's AI is its metering. Call recording, AI workflows and email or phone lookups spend tokens, and Breakcold's own example puts 300 active contacts at about $90 a month extra.

Quotes, orders and customisation

Neither CRM has sales orders, price lists or sample tracking. Copper gets quotes through a marketplace app, and Breakcold has no quotes.

Breakcold lets you build custom objects, though someone on your team has to design and maintain them.

Messaging and security

WhatsApp, Telegram and LinkedIn all sit in Breakcold's inbox. In Copper, LinkedIn saving is on every plan, WhatsApp comes through marketplace apps and Telegram isn't supported.

Single sign-on starts at $99 on Copper, and Breakcold doesn't offer it.

We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.
