Pricing: free to $79 against $23 to $99
Attio has a free plan for up to three seats, then paid plans from $35 to $79. Copper has three plans from $23 to $99. Both offer a free trial.
Copper's paid entry is cheaper than Attio's, at $23 against $35, but a team of up to three pays nothing on Attio. Higher up it reverses: Attio's $79 Pro plan costs less than Copper's $99 top plan. Copper's $23 Basic plan also stops at 2,500 contacts.
Gmail first, or a model you design
Copper's pitch is simplicity inside Google Workspace. It runs inside Gmail and Calendar, syncs Drive and Contacts on every plan, and tracks projects next to deals. Gmail is the only inbox it syncs, so Outlook mailboxes stay outside it.
Attio's pitch is flexibility: you define every object, attribute and workflow, with AI agents and its own MCP server on top. It syncs both Gmail and Outlook, and suits a team that wants to design its own CRM.
Calls, meetings and AI
Attio's Call Intelligence records, transcribes and summarises calls, fills in CRM fields and drafts follow-ups, all from the $79 Pro plan. Copper has no meeting recording, no AI summaries and no CRM autofill.
Copper does draft follow-up emails from its $59 Professional plan. It has no MCP server, while Attio supports MCP so Claude or ChatGPT can connect.
Quotes, orders and automation
Neither has sales orders, price lists or sample tracking. Copper reaches quotes through a marketplace app, and Attio has no quotes.
Attio includes workflows and an API. Copper starts workflow automation and its API at $59.
LinkedIn, messaging and sign-in
Copper saves LinkedIn prospects without switching tabs. Attio relies on marketplace apps for LinkedIn.
WhatsApp reaches Copper only through marketplace apps and isn't supported by Attio. Neither supports Telegram. Single sign-on starts at $99 on Copper and is on Attio's Enterprise plan.
We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.
Why PromptLab is the better choice for teams that sell products
PromptLab is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products. On their entry plans, neither Attio nor Copper includes quotes, sales orders, sample tracking, price lists, meeting recording and AI meeting summaries. PromptLab has all of them on every plan, from $11.99 a user a month.
Sales objects ready-made, not built from scratch
We ship all four on the account and the deal from the Basic plan. Set up your customer price lists and create the first quote in the same week you sign up.
