Our pick for product teams

GoHighLevel and Salesforce are both bigger than a CRM, but in different directions. GoHighLevel is an all-in-one marketing platform for agencies, with funnels, websites, SMS and email campaigns and AI agents, sold per agency account with client sub-accounts. Salesforce is a platform for modelling a sales process, priced per user.

That difference makes the prices hard to line up. Below, they're compared on pricing, who each is built for, quotes, calls and AI, and data and security. Every figure comes from the vendors' own pages.

Pricing: $97 to $497 an account against $25 to $550 a seat

GoHighLevel has three plans from $97 to $497 a month, priced per account with unlimited users, not per seat. Calls, messages and AI are billed by usage on top. Salesforce has five editions from $25 to $550 a user a month, billed annually. Both come with a free trial.

So the question is team size. At Salesforce's $25 entry price, four seats already cost $100 a month, more than GoHighLevel's $97 plan before usage. A large team shares one GoHighLevel account, while Salesforce charges for every seat.

An agency platform against a configurable CRM

GoHighLevel is organised around an agency and its client sub-accounts, with rebilling and SaaS Mode built into the plans. The CRM is one module next to funnels, websites and campaigns.

Salesforce is the most configurable CRM there is, with Agentforce AI and AppExchange. A business selling its own products gets a CRM it can shape, but usually needs an admin or partner to do it.

Quotes, price lists and orders

GoHighLevel has quotes and can send estimates and invoices. It has no sample tracking, customer price lists or B2B sales orders.

Salesforce starts quotes, price lists and orders on Pro Suite at $100 a user a month. Samples aren't modelled there either, so tracking them means a custom object.

Calls, meeting notes and AI

GoHighLevel records calls on its own phone system, billed per minute, with transcription extra, and takes video meeting summaries from a Fathom integration. It has a dialer and supports MCP, follow-up drafts run through workflows, and CRM autofill covers chats only.

On Salesforce, recording, summaries and follow-up drafts sit in the $50 Sales Engagement add-on, and the dialer is an add-on too. Autofill, MCP and the API start at $195.

Data, WhatsApp and sign-on

GoHighLevel imports data from CSV only. WhatsApp is a $10 a month add-on, and single sign-on needs Agency Pro and supports OIDC only.

Salesforce sells WhatsApp as an add-on and includes single sign-on. Neither supports Telegram. For LinkedIn, GoHighLevel has nothing built in, while Salesforce goes through its marketplace.

We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.

Why PromptLab is the better choice for teams that sell products

PromptLab is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products. On their entry plans, neither GoHighLevel nor Salesforce includes sales orders, sample tracking, price lists, meeting recording, AI meeting summaries and AI follow-up drafts. PromptLab has all of them on every plan, from $11.99 a user a month.

  • A deal moving across a pipeline into won

Built for a product sale, not a marketing funnel

We're built around how industrial sales work: accounts with several buyers, long deals, quotes and samples, repeat orders. The pipeline, the account and the paperwork are the product, not one module of many.

Quotes, price lists and orders on day one

PromptLab ships quotes, price lists, sales orders and sample tracking on the $11.99 Basic plan. They sit on the account and the deal, ready as soon as your customers are imported.

Samples, price lists and sales orders on the deal

We keep sample requests and results, customer price lists, quotes and sales orders on the account and the deal, on every plan. When a buyer asks where the sample is, the answer is on the record.

Frequently asked questions

Is GoHighLevel cheaper than Salesforce?

It depends on team size. GoHighLevel costs $97 to $497 a month per account with unlimited users, plus usage. Salesforce costs $25 to $550 per user a month, billed annually, so four seats on its entry edition already pass GoHighLevel's $97 plan.

Is GoHighLevel priced per user?

No. It's priced per account, with unlimited users and client sub-accounts. Calls, messages and AI are billed by usage on top of the plan.

Does GoHighLevel have quotes?

Yes, and it can send estimates and invoices. Salesforce starts quotes on Pro Suite at $100 a user a month.

Does GoHighLevel support WhatsApp?

Yes, as a $10 a month add-on. On Salesforce, WhatsApp is an add-on too. Neither supports Telegram.

Is there an alternative to GoHighLevel and Salesforce for teams that sell products?

PromptLab. It is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products, with quotes, price lists, sales orders and sample tracking, recorded and summarised meetings, and email, WhatsApp and Telegram in one inbox, on every plan from $11.99 a user a month with a 14-day free trial.
