Pricing: $97 to $497 an account against $9 to $139 a seat

GoHighLevel has three plans from $97 to $497 a month per account, plus usage for calls, messages and AI. Close has four plans from $9 to $139 a seat a month, billed annually. Both offer a free trial.

Close's cheapest plan is Solo at $9, but pipelines start on Essentials at $35 and workflows on Growth at $99. Three reps on Essentials cost $105 a month, already past GoHighLevel's $97 entry plan. Five reps on Growth cost $495. GoHighLevel's usage charges are what to add to its side.

A marketing platform against a calling tool

GoHighLevel bundles funnels, websites, SMS and email campaigns, a CRM and AI agents, with client sub-accounts for agencies. A sales team that only wants to call and follow up uses a small part.

Close concentrates on the sales conversation. Its AI teammate, Chloe, summarises calls and updates records on every plan, and its Power and Predictive dialling arrive on higher plans.

Calls, meetings and AI

Close records calls, summarises them and fills in CRM fields on every plan, with a dialer included. GoHighLevel records calls on its own phone system billed per minute, with transcription extra, and takes meeting summaries from a Fathom integration.

GoHighLevel's CRM autofill covers chats only, and its follow-up drafts run through workflows. Close has no follow-up drafts. Both support MCP and have an API.

Messaging, workflows and sign-on

WhatsApp works with Close and costs a $10 a month add-on on GoHighLevel. Neither supports Telegram or saves LinkedIn profiles.

GoHighLevel includes workflows from its first plan; Close keeps them for Growth at $99. For single sign-on, Close offers Google only, while GoHighLevel needs Agency Pro and supports OIDC only.

Quotes and orders

GoHighLevel can send estimates and invoices. Close has no quotes at all.

Neither has sales orders, customer price lists or sample tracking, so a team selling products keeps those records elsewhere.

We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.

Why PromptLab is the better choice for teams that sell products

PromptLab is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products. On their entry plans, neither GoHighLevel nor Close includes sales orders, sample tracking, price lists, AI follow-up drafts, Telegram and LinkedIn profile saving. PromptLab has all of them on every plan, from $11.99 a user a month.

  • A deal moving across a pipeline into won

Built for a product sale, not a marketing funnel

We're built around how industrial sales work: accounts with several buyers, long deals, quotes and samples, repeat orders. The pipeline, the account and the paperwork are the product, not one module of many.

Quotes, samples and price lists in the CRM

We keep quotes, sample tracking, price lists and sales orders on the account and the deal, on every plan. When the buyer calls back, the quote and the sample are right there.

Samples, price lists and sales orders on the deal

We keep sample requests and results, customer price lists, quotes and sales orders on the account and the deal, on every plan. When a buyer asks where the sample is, the answer is on the record.
