Pricing: $35 to $79 against $9 to $139
Attio has a free plan for up to three seats, and its paid plans run from $35 to $79 a seat a month. Close has four plans, from $9 on Solo to $139. Both offer a free trial.
Close's paid entry is lower, and Attio's top published price is lower. But Close's $9 plan has no pipeline: pipelines start on Essentials at $35, the price of Attio's cheapest paid plan, and workflows on Growth at $99. Attio includes both pipelines and workflows from the start.
A blank canvas against a phone-first CRM
Attio hands you a data model to shape, and that freedom suits a team that wants to design its own CRM. It comes with AI agents and its own MCP server.
Close starts from the phone instead. The dialer, email and SMS are built in, and Chloe, its AI teammate, works on every plan.
Call recording and AI
Close records calls and summarises them on every plan, and Chloe updates records from the call. It has no follow-up email drafts.
Attio's Call Intelligence records, transcribes and summarises calls too, but only on the Pro plan at $79. Follow-up drafts and filling CRM fields from calls sit on the same plan. Both support MCP.
Dialer, email and messaging
Close has a built-in dialer, with Power and Predictive dialling on higher plans. Attio has no dialer. Both sync email.
Close supports WhatsApp; Attio doesn't. Neither supports Telegram, so buyers who message there stay outside both.
Quotes, LinkedIn and sign-in
Neither offers quotes, sales orders, sample tracking or price lists. A team that sells products has to build them in Attio's data model or keep them outside Close.
LinkedIn profile saving needs a marketplace app on Attio, and Close has no built-in way to do it. Single sign-on is on Attio's Enterprise plan; Close offers Google sign-in only.
We make PromptLab, so here is why product teams pick it over both.
Why PromptLab is the better choice for teams that sell products
PromptLab is a CRM for B2B teams that sell products. On their entry plans, neither Attio nor Close includes quotes, sales orders, sample tracking, price lists, AI follow-up drafts and Telegram. PromptLab has all of them on every plan, from $11.99 a user a month.
Sales objects ready-made, not built from scratch
We ship all four on the account and the deal from the Basic plan. Set up your customer price lists and create the first quote in the same week you sign up.
